Proxy buying or package forwarding: which do I need?
Updated
Use package forwarding when you can complete checkout on the Korean store yourself and only need a Korean delivery address. Use proxy buying when the store will not accept your card, needs Korean phone verification, or you would rather we place the order. Proxy buying adds a $4 service fee per product link; forwarding has no service fee.
Quick decision
- Store ships to your country and takes your card: buy directly.
- Store takes your card but delivers only in Korea: package forwarding.
- Store needs Korean payment, ID or phone verification: proxy buying.
- Mixing both is fine. Proxy-bought and self-bought items can ship in one box.
What the proxy service fee covers
The fee is $4 per product link, for any quantity of that link. It is never a percentage of what you spend. It covers placing and paying for the order, screening for prohibited items before buying, an inspection photo on arrival and message support.
Item price and Korean domestic delivery are confirmed in your quote. International shipping is charged later, after the parcel is weighed.
Costs both services share
45 days of free storage, then $0.50 per day up to day 90. Combining up to 3 packages into one box is free; each additional package is $1.50.
A Transaction & Protection charge applies to each payment. Rates depend on the payment method and are shown before you pay.
Common questions
Is the proxy fee charged per item?
Per product link. Three of the same item is one link ($4); three different items are three links.
Can I cancel a proxy order?
You can cancel before purchasing starts, within 24 hours of payment, under the refund policy. After we have purchased, cancellation depends on the store.
