US CUSTOMS REFERENCE
Tax and clearance treatment for an international order can vary by item, origin, importer, shipment method, and current rules. This page is general reference only and does not guarantee a duty or clearance outcome.
CBP guidance published in 2025 explains that, from August 29, 2025, prior Section 321 de minimis treatment is generally no longer available for imported shipments, including international mail, and applicable duties, taxes, and fees may apply. Exceptions and scope can vary by order, so confirm the official CBP guidance before payment.
Open official CBP guidance ↗Section 321 is an administrative-exemption provision in US customs law for certain low-value imports. The historical $800 threshold is not a current duty determination tool for an order. Whether a threshold or entry process applies must be confirmed against current CBP rules and the individual goods.
Declared value alone cannot determine cost. Item classification, origin, importer details, and applicable rules can change the result.
Splitting one order does not guarantee a duty or clearance outcome. Splitting solely to obtain an exemption may not be appropriate.
SeoulDrop does not determine clearance results through a customs-broker or carrier contract. Check CBP and seek professional advice where needed before ordering.
The calculator provides a planning estimate; actual shipment availability and final cost are confirmed per order before payment.
